It was a dismal day in Cinder's life,
She was scrubbing floors for her father's wife,
She stood up and groaned, she threw down the rag,
"I'm sick of this muck," and took out a fag,
She threw it down again, "No I'm not gonna smoke!"
The tears in her eyes, the feel in her throat,
She started to weep, she started to cry,
Then suddenly a voice said, "Good god, you alright?"
She looked up in shock, surprised at the sight,
For in front of her appeared; in a big flash of light,
A women was there, with a wand, she had WINGS!
And on each polished finger were stunning gold rings,
Cinders approached her, "Who on earth are you?!"
"What are you doing here?!" So down she flew,
"I, my dear, am your fairy godmother, a fairy."
Cinders was shocked, her face did look wary,
"I shall grant you one wish and only the one,
So mind what you wish for, it can't be undone."
"Hm," pondered cinders, "I know what i want,
To get me out of this terrible dump,
I want new some new clothes, a car and more!
And anything else you have in store,
The party at the palace, i want to go too,
I want the money, the prince and the royal loo!"
"Well," said the fairy, "You ask quite a lot,
But as it's you, I'll give it a shot."
With a flick of her wand and a swish here and there,
A few hours later she walked down the stairs,
In the palace, to the party to meet with the prince,
The others watching her started to wince,
They danced and they danced, they never did stop,
Then it struck 12, the chime of the clock,
Stopped Cinders from dancing and made her rush out,
This made the prince call to her, scream and shout,
"Oh come back to me darling, oh what is your name?"
He shouted out again and again,
But alas, alack for she did not hear,
Nor see him shed those silent tears,
He ran out, to follow her, almost unaware,
Of the shoe he did pass that lay on the stair,
He saw it and stopped, his heart felt like lead,
He took it with him back up to bed,
"The women this fits shall soon be my bride,
I'll search for her tomorrow, I'll find where she hides."
He soon forgot all and then fell asleep,
Whilst back in the cellar Cinders started to weep,
"He's the perfect man, the prince for me,
But only if it could possibly be."
She too fell asleep, but not for long,
As she soon was woken by her stepmothers gong,
"CINDERELLA! COME UP HERE NOW!" She screamed and she cried,
"I'm cooking your breakfast," Cinderella did lie,
"Well hurry it up, and bring me some tea!"
A voice spoke softly, "And a whisky for me."
She turned and she saw in front of her eyes,
Her fairy godmother to her surprise,
"Or anything strong, i don't really mind,
As long as you close that goddamn blind."
She covered her eyes and winced in the light,
For the man that i love and adore, always will,
When there are plenty of other girls to fit the bill,
To be his wife, and lead him through a glorious life,
Oh help me please, can't you see?
I feel as rotten as can be."
"Alright," said the fairy, "I'll help you out,
As long as you don't scream or shout,
I'll give you one more wish, that's the lot,
Or else my boss will have me shot."
"I wish the prince would love me dearly,
As i do him so very clearly,
I wish he'd come down here, down to me,
Hold me close and never leave,"
"And..." "Yeah blabla I know the rest."
Her wand held tightly to her chest,
She flicked her wand, just once more,
And voila! Who came through the door?
But the handsome, gorgeous, caring prince,
He hugged her kissed her and ever since,
They have enjoyed their life together so far,
And cinders got her new clothes and car,
But i hear you say, what of her evil stepmother?
She too had found a new manly lover,
And he has a daughter like cinders too,
Who has to wash and scrub the loo,
But someday maybe her prince will come,
And they together will have some fun,
But for now their house is full of laughter,
The prince and Cinders lived HAPPILY EVER AFTER!
