Its fucked up but its never boring is it?: Getting down and dirty.

I've decided i should maybe explain a little more what it is im actually doing with my life.

Right now this very second im having a break from revising second order differential equations and its totally wank if im honest. So i thought i good way to have a break would be to sort out some photos that i fancy sharing with everyone :]

Basically.

In around 3-4 years time i will be officially part of her majestys armed forces. Pretty daunting prospect yeah i know. Especially when at the age of 16 i had not only decided but in to motion the plan for the rest of my life.

Starting with the application to welbeck defence sixth form college. Rigarous procedure including interviews and horrific amounts of paperwork follwed by the typical AOSB (army officer selection board) which is what every person wishing to become an officer in the army has to do. Ours was slightly shortened due to the fact on average we were all around 5-10 years younger than the typical adult applicant. However i made it through and went on to start my time at welbeck in which i completed my A-levels.

The photo above was taken on one of our first socials at welbeck. We went to alton towers and it was awesome. Because id never been before!!!

However it wasnt all fun...

A typical day was;

06.55 - Get up and ready for breakfast

07.10 - go for breakfast

08.30 - first lesson

09.30 - second lesson

10.30 - break

11.00 - third lesson

12.00 - fourth lesson

13.00 - lunch

14.00 - Either a fifth lesson, alternate activitie, music lesson, or sports training.

18.00 - dinner

19.00 til 21.00 - PREP

21.00 till 23.00 - free time

23.15 - lights out

And this happened 6 days a week every week aside from holidays! The only difference being wednesday and saturday afternoons everyone took part in one sport or another. For me it was swimming in winter, netball in spring, and triathlon in summer.

Due to it being a "military" sixth form we also had to take part in CCF and numerous exercises.
